This book was originally published in 1912 and has been reissued as a facsimile reproduction in the Bicentennial Floridiana Facsimile Series. The authors intent was to bring Key West history up to date since the publication of Walter C. Malloney's A Sketch of the History of Key West, Florida was published 35 years prior.
