Karma

Karma is a story of mystery and suspense, set largely in 1970's Paris. A fatal accident and chance discovery propel Adrienne on her journey as she searches for the reason why her mother Janey disappeared from the family home ten years previously. The story she reveals spans three decades and has its roots in the Nazi occupation of the city during the 1940's and the evils perpetrated. The consequences of those events echo down the years and little by little we begin to understand why Janey never came home and exactly what had happened to her. It is a story with many twists and turns, the shocking conclusion delivering a certain natural justice.
