Kao Pan Yu Shi

Kao Pan Yu Shi is a notebook compiled by Tu Long in the Ming Dynasty reflecting the life of the Ming Dynasty scholar-officials. Its main content is related to the study. Volume one introduces the book tablet rubbings, volume two reviews calligraphy, painting and piano paper, and volume three and volume four discuss pen and inkstone bottles. There are many editions of this book, and the situation is more complicated. Kao Pan Yu Shi/Zihai Essence Compilation is based on Shangbaizhai''s Revised Secrets of Chen Meigong, written by Tu Long, edited by Wang Chenglue, and proofread by Qin Yueyu. It refers to the Secrets of Baoyantang, Secretary of Longwei, Chanhuaan Series and related historical materials, and proofreads in detail.
