Kanchi's Tale

(Full colour) It's not every day that a simple village dog gets the opportunity to go along with two guidebook authors on a trek to one of the highest peaks on the planet. I didn't paws for long when they came to stay at my lodge. This is the story of my exciting winter expedition to Makalu Base Camp, returning via the little-explored Barun Nadi valley, also known as the Yeti Foot Trail.
