Belinda is sick. According to her radiologist, she has been diagnosed with nine illnesses. This is happening in 2003. But Belinda' story started in 1934. Belinda remembers and recounts the story of her life, starting from the streets of Brooklyn, NY almost 70 years ago. She remembers her poor yet happy life, living with her strict, loving dad, bubbly momma, her five sisters and two brothers and even the husband that left her. A Coming-Of-Age Story In the book "Just Say No", we see the growth of Belinda from youth to adulthood and everything that happens in her life before she gets diagnoses with nine diseases. And through it all, God is always there having a central role in Belinda's life form a very young age. All theses years, she would go to church to be close to Him. Eventually He found a way to bring her even closer as she weathered the storms of life.
