Jungle Bound

Told entirely from a first person perspective, Jungle Bound is the gritty and exciting story of what happens when an ordinary family man named Dan Hudson, an architect and amateur photographer from Toronto, Canada ends up being the sole survivor of a chartered flight that crashes deep in the Amazon jungle. Faced with a diminishing mental state caused by his unenviable situation, Dan must gather his courage and assert himself if he is to survive...

Forced to rely on his own resources, meager though they are, he must carve out a pitiful existence. With no map, compass, or navigational experience, he makes a desperate bid to trek out of the jungle - on foot. By doing so, he crosses over the line of everything it means to be civilized, eating anything he can along the way to survive. The jungle even seems to take on an almost supernatural quality - is it real or his imagination? Malnutrition, hunger, and thirst become his mainstay. Worse, he soon realizes he may not be entirely alone...

Though death is always lurking in some shape around every corner or bush, Dan soon discovers that the biggest danger to his own survival is actually HIMSELF.
