June's March

She came to Millbrook for a quiet country locum-for the month of March, nothing more. She got a hormonal turkey, a steer with attitude... and a meddlesome grandma with matchmaking on her mind.

June's not exactly a country girl-so house-sitting a menagerie of wayward animals in Tropical North Queensland is not what she signed up for. Still, she's determined to make it work, even if the local wildlife (and a surgery full of trying characters) seem intent on testing her sanity.

Enter Dave: rugged, reserved, annoyingly attractive-and clearly not over his past. But Dave's gran has plans, and subtlety isn't one of them. As June gets drawn deeper into the rhythm of small-town life, she discovers that the animals aren't the only ones with wild hearts.
