Jubilee

Jubilee is a collection of stories primarily based in and around a fictitious town on the Delmarva Peninsula. At once humorous and heart-wrenching, the stories resonate a southern upbringing. The story Jubilee itself is a nostalgic romp reflected upon at the discovery on a vintage tape recorder; its setting, a country farmhouse and a family hootenanny set to a jazz-like cadence . . . experiencing first love, unbridled joy, and consequent heartbreak . . . questioning the juxtaposing reality of a christian upbringing.
