The young man, Ore', was deep in sleep. Dat moved closer to him and noticed that Ore's breath was rapid, and his eyes under the lids were moving from left to right and up and down. Dat never understood this nightmare-dreaming thing these creatures experienced, but he did know he had been instructed to wake Ore' up. He walked heavily down the bed toward Ore's head trying to wake the lad.
