"Mohammed Labib Al-Batnuni was a man of many journeys and tours across Europe, yet he had never visited Spain before fate led him there in 1926, wandering as a traveler through its landscapes, standing in awe before landmarks where modern Spain intersects and overlaps with the vestiges of Al-Andalus.During his journey, Al-Batnuni sent a series of descriptive and observational letters to the Egyptian newspaper Al-Ahram, which later published them under the title A Tour in Spain.
