This story is a Frontier novel taking place in the late 1800s, a few years following the Civil War.Jesse is a woman of her time and a pioneer in the struggle for equalization of the genders.Content to be a wife and mother her world is suddenly torn upside down and inside out by a small gang of ruthless thieves and murderers.
