Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. The value of the present work consists partly in its clear and comprehensive summary of Bohme's views, and partly in the keen and thoughtful criticism to which those views are subjected. Theosophy is, at present, a somewhat discredited term, but it is needless to say that, in the case of Jacob Bohme, the term involves no suspicion of chicanery.
