It's Time to Pray

This book is an easy reading whimsical, lyrical guide to prayer for elementary age children. It is divided into two sections. The first half consists of rhyming verses describing what prayer is and how to pray. It goes through situations where prayer might be appropriate for a child. The second half consists of common prayers that are taught to children. Bedtime prayers, table prayers and general prayers for children are included. The book is intended for children, but also serves as an aid to parents, grandparents and others who wish to introduce children to the concept of Christian prayer. The book could be given as a gift for First Communions, birthdays, or at Christmas or Easter. It could also be used in religious education courses.
