It's Only a Headache

Headaches are temporary, right? Most of the time, they are. But that's not the case for Adam. At random times, fourteen year old Adam Johnny Cox gets hit with extremely painful headaches, terrifying visions, and nightmares. These can happen at any time, whether it's at his house, at school, or anywhere else.Not only that, but Adam is struggling with his social life. Tensions are increasing in his relationship with his best friend, Rocco, and his other friends Melissa and Will are growing ever more distant. He's keeping secrets from his family and his mother is getting suspicious. He also has to deal with rude classmates and one bully that likes to terrorize him for sport.As the strange attacks get progressively worse, Adam becomes desperate to stop them. Every time he tries to explain to someone what's happening to him, he's crushed with anxiety. Adam explores the episodes more and more, despite the endless trauma. But as he tries to fix it himself, Adam faces more consequences than he ever expected.
