Into the Clouds: Stories From Haiti

In 2016, Cullen Vane went to Haiti for six months to serve at the Mission of Grace in the small village of Carries and he ended up staying for eleven months. So moved was he that in 2017 he returned for seven months more and from that experience he wrote Into the Clouds. Although the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere, Haiti and its people are rich in spirit. Through the ups and downs of living in a Third World country, Cullen has experienced God's workings despite the dark underpinnings that often pervades Haiti. As Cullen explains, "The purpose of the book is to show that God shows up, often when we least suspect Him to." Into the Clouds is a journey beyond a poor place where mortal people live, and takes the reader into the realm of rich belief.
