Intellectual Disability and Education

Teaching plays a very important role in our children and youth, teacher training is indispensable and relevant, continuous updating on issues of inclusive education and use of appropriate technological tools is crucial to maintain effective practices, that is why this book shows a Pedagogical Proposal for working with students with Intellectual Disabilities and in the broad framework of Education, as the strategies are increasingly innovative to improve teaching.Inclusive education and the use of technological tools in the classroom are areas of constant research. This is aligned with current trends in pedagogy and educational technology. There are recent studies that support the effectiveness of using visual resources in the education of people with intellectual disabilities; and this proposal is inserted in this context of scientific and practical validation.The research contributes to the intersection between psycho-pedagogy, educational technology and disability studies, providing new and more effective educational practices.
