Integrated Recovery Programmes in Eritrea 1992-2012

This publication is an attempt to present a comprehensive listing of all recovery programmes undertaken by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), in partnership with the Government of Eritrea, covering two decades (1992-2012).This effort is an attempt to partially capture from a personal perspective, many of the notable behind the scenes interactions with stakeholders, which are seldom reflected in official documents and reports in order to be politically correct. Moreover, it is also meant to point out some key achievements, highlight lessons learned and identify a few best practices.
