Insidious Six

After everything goes horribly wrong in searching for the fifth piece of the Phoenix, Jet Black and the Elementals find themselves in a battle for their lives. Congo has been anything but hospitable. Little do they truly understand who stands against them. The Azurites will stop at nothing to disrupt the Rivalry and bring down magic before it has taken root.

War is ten steps closer and Jet Black no longer controls all the pieces of the Phoenix. A far more sinister plan is exposed to hand those with magic their biggest defeat, and to deliver the power to the Demon Prince. Six items, believed to be for good, have deadly consequences. Tracking down these items will require all of Jet's strength and ingenuity.

The three other boarding schools are calling for the rebirth of the three additional magic types. The witches of the Coven demand that Jet fulfill his promise of releasing their children, who have been prisoners for centuries.

Nothing is what it seems, and Jet must navigate the most difficult obstacles without the complete trust of his friends, at least some of them. Despite the deceptions, he gains the most unexpected allies along the way.

Jet belatedly searches for the Phoenix, while Shane Fallon and the Runics have gained a substantial foothold. But Jet has a plan to gain what he has lost and much more. After all...failure will bring about his death and the end of magic once and for all.
