'Inheritance: a dream realised', tells a family history and what life was like for the parents of the author, when they grew up in Barbados. As with that generation, they never really talked about their childhood but whenever they did reminisce, they laughed a lot and their memories seemed to be happy ones. It was fascinating for Roselyn to know that she could be out shopping in Brixton market, in Barbados at funerals or when family visited, and told "Dis is yuh family", but never told how they were ever related. 'Inheritance: a dream realised' explores so much to do with family, its history and the stories.
