Indonesia Energy Sector Assessment, Strategy, and Road Map

This report provides an overview of IndonesiaÕs energy sector and a summary of Asian Development BankÕs (ADB) current and planned support.

Core sector issues are discussed such as the poor alignment of energy policies, rules, and regulations; the dominance of fossil fuels; and constraints to energy efficiency. The report explains the governmentÕs energy sector strategy, policies, and plans as well as planned support from ADB and other development partners. A road map and results framework for the sector is also presented.
