Oxfam has worked in India for nearly fifty years, and this book reflects some of its rich and varied experience of the country and its people. Focusing on particular problems facing the country - environment, trade and aid - the book will look at how people are working together to find solutions. Written in a lively and accessible style with plenty of photographs, the book gives an introductory insight into many aspects of India and describes the context of Oxfams work.
