In Spirit - A Story of Friendship

In Sprit - A Story of Friendship recounts my experience of a special friendship and coming of age that I shared with my friend Patty. As told in my story, at the peak of this experience, Patty was tragically killed in a car accident. One week to the day and time of her death, I was standing alongside the Arkansas River in Colorado where Patty's memorial service was being held. During the midst of my grief that threatened to break my spirit, a sudden feeling of peace came over me. I suddenly felt in touch with what I knew spiritually because of my friendship with Patty. I took a picture of the open sky as I declared to rest on the hope that spiritually our friendship would always live.
