This book was published in 1966, and collects a number of articles by Dr. Mustafa Mahmoud that deal with the relationship between men and women, and sheds light on the feelings of love and hate that usually attract couples, drawing a map of the relationship based on tranquility and compassion, which he considered the most important element in building successful relationships. Then he considers the issue of women''s freedom and how it can be considered a trap for women, and explains the differences that he sees as essential and influential between the sexes in nature and interests, criticizing at the same time those traditions that reduce the role of women to housework and raising children.
