Identity by Dissociation

Rev. John Chilembe was the first Baptist missionary to his own people. One of his first disciples, Peter Kalemba, was the first Baptist missionary to his own people, the Achewa. Both men used the church planting principle of a 'people group movement', but APIM, not having spread out to people of other ethnic groups, is proof that christianization by means of people groups is by no means a perfect answer to the task of evangelization.
