I WAS NOT A HERO

A short summary of life experiences, travels, struggles, etc. in the military of a person coming of age during the turbulent times of the 1960s. Success in life is not always cut and dry. How you are molded in your young life is directly related to how you will succeed in later years.There were many individuals that shaped what is now the finished product of the person that I have become, and I have attempted to highlight the methods they used to teach me. There were more triumphs than disappointments, and there were lessons learned from the disappointments as well.The bottom line in life is always look over your shoulder. There is always somebody behind you, watching you, wants to be like you, or wants your job or position. That means that you must put your best foot forward and set the best example you can.
