I Submit to You

Amongst all the overwhelming darkness in this world, I found the universal counter of light for all of it in the soul of one person. He is Shaykh Muhammad Adil Ar-Rabbani, master of the path to the one and only Creator. To sit in his presence and hear only a few words, his light pierced my entire existence. I lost myself completely, becoming weightless with peace. He knows me better than I know myself. If I ever forget him I forget also my hope and my light in this world. He is the sun for my earth. All I can hope is to be his follower on the path to Allah, even though I am so weak. Following him is the only thing that keeps me alive in this world, and rescues me from all darkness. With him I feel cleaned and pure, born new into the world over and over. From the teachings of him and his father Shaykh Nazim, I spent many years in contemplation. I became inspired with many quotes; words whispered by the depths of my heart. From them I hope you feel a small piece of light that my shaykh gave to me.
