I Kissed the Face of God

A fictionalized story of Mary, the mother of Jesus, and her struggles with a primeval fear for the life of a child cloaked in prophesy and entrusted to her.What she might have experienced as she and Joseph fled, under cover of darkness, from the threat of Herod, to Egypt.Their return to Nazareth some years later, where Mary finds the townspeople still have memories of her pregnancy before her marriage, and suffers the rebuffs of the town's women.Mary's questions in her heart the prophesies as she watches her son become a wandering rabbi.
