I Grow My Own Food

This book is about a young girl named Nya and her cousin Harlem, who decided to build a community garden. After learning how to grow their own food in school, the kids were encouraged to get their neighbors involved, find local resources and solve problems to ultimately build a beautiful garden. The book takes the reader on an exciting quest with two adventurous kids who convert a trash lot into a lush community garden! ALL PROCEEDS WILL FUND OUR SCHOOL GARDENING PROGRAMS.
