I Came to You in Weakness is a free verse memoir on how my life profoundly altered after a simple prayer request of supplication was given to God. The Almighty revealed a path which led to a college classroom in China. The problem: I was working for a Fortune 500 company in Chicago. The greater problem? If I don't venture into China am I being disobedient to God? Dear God, remove me from this sinking ship. Take me away.The Lord's yes answer began a journey that took me in countless circles. It wore out my sandals and withered my faith. I screamed for the mustard seed to grow and sought positive answers from God and the world. 1500 obstacles and 30 months later, God finally revealed what was at the end of the journey: a mustard seed plant in a provincial classroom in Guǎngzhōu China. I needed to go where the seed will produce. The dilemma: If I didn't go to Guǎngzhōu was I being disobedient to God?I lived in Chicago.
