I Am Cat

There is nothing Cat loves more than the human's amazing pets, except for the human herself Although it is not as great as pets, Cat does one thing to try and thank the human: Cat keeps the shadows away at night. The shadows try to get the human, put bad thoughts in her head, and give her nightmares, but they are no match for Cat and the love they have for their human. This book addresses negative thinking, nightmares, and difficult emotions. It is intended to be used as a teaching tool for beginning discussions with children in an accessible way. After reading this book, children and adults alike should be able to talk about how they sometimes feel like the human, people in their life that are like Cat for them, and how they themselves can be like Cat to others.
