I Am An Outer Space Alien

They named me Shirley.

But I hate the letter 'y.' It droops down like a sad dog's tail.

I renamed myself Shirl.

That's a much better name for an outer space alien like me.

Shirl is sure she's not from Earth.

She's not like other people.

She likes to spend her time working on a radio to talk to people in outer space.

They answer.

Her new friend is looking for her true home, too.

They decide to make their home on Earth together.
