How to Overcome Temptation: When Quoting Scripture Doesn't Work

Have you learned that the Word of God is a Sword? (Eph. 6:17) Or maybe you've learned to quote the Word, just as Jesus did, when the enemy came to tempt Him. (Mathew 4:1-11)But, instead of the enemy fleeing, you find yourself feeling increasingly overwhelmed. Well, this was my story. But thanks be to God, this was not my end. And I pray this is not your end either. Because I am about to give you something powerful!The Scriptures call it a TESTIMONY. And the Scriptures teach us that the TESTIMONY is how we as believers overcome. Revelations 12:11 says this, And they overcame him, by the blood of the lamb, and by the word of their testimony and they did not love their life, even when faced with death. Do you see? We overcome first by being a believer in Christ Jesus, and secondly, by the word of our testimonies. So here is mine! And I pray my testimony is a blessing to all who find it!
