How does the mind work?

In this book, we present to readers a valuable book, presented to the general readership by a group of the most prominent British psychologists. They divided its topics according to their specialization, thus producing a reliable foundation. What endears this book to the general readership is that it was not written for specialists, but rather its topics were originally presented in the form of lectures on British radio for the general public. Thus, it is free of difficult problems and complex terminology, and its style is easy and requires no assistance, with the most important issues that go through the mind of every person, touching on his thinking, feelings, emotions, and, in short, his psychological state. Since the series in which this book was published was of a certain size and did not want to exceed it, we divided it into two parts and translated one part of it into Arabic. Professor Muhammad Khalaf Allah translated the other part, and each of us reviewed what the other wrote, taking care to achieve complete accuracy and a smooth style. Thus, it came out worthy of the scientific and literary value of this work.
