Household Dynamics

This text, written primarily for a course in household economics, focuses on core economic models as well as empirical results. Unlike most texts that concentrate solely on the microeconmics of household consumption and saving, and policy; policy implications are therefore emphasized throughout. Lord develops dynamic models of consumption, saving, human capital accumulation, incestements in children, intergenerational transfers, household labor supply, and fertility, each of which is aggregated to address important issues in modern growth theory.
