Everything seems to go well in Maddie's complex web of love relationships. She won't divorce her husband, Mischee, whom she continues to love and satisfy in her own way. Nor will she leave Marcus, her hung black lover. who is increasingly important to her emotional stability and marital life. It's even possible she'll reach a non-monogamous arrangement, a deal with Mischee, about her only lover. Even Maddie's daughter, Claire, is coming to terms with and accepting her parents' new situation. But when a violent incident blows up Marcus's dangerous business, everything will change in Maddie's home—and in her bed.
