This book attempts to address the extension and management issues in overall implementation of the watershed projects. Examining the goals, programmes, structure and functioning of watershed projects, it describes organizational, technological and socio-economic issues in the implementation of watershed projects. Specially focusing on the National Watershed Development Programme for Rainfed Area (NWDPRA), it presents a process analysis from policy to programme and implementation.
