Caleb is a young baseball player who's struggling to come out of his shell on a team run by a no-nonsense coach. When Caleb's family agrees to host Ricky, a 19-year-old ballplayer from the Dominican Republic, at their home for the summer while he plays on a local independent team, Caleb begins to rediscover the fun side of the game.
