Hobbs

Hobbs, a young dragon, simply can't fly on his own. When the other dragons venture to fun places, he must walk or stay behind. With the help of his best friend, Piper, Hobbs tries different methods to learn to fly. Finally, Piper gathers a group of adults-the teacher, blacksmith, and carpenter-to help build Hobbs an airplane so he'll be able to fly and keep up with the other dragons. In this picture book for children, two best friends embark on a high-flying journey of bravery and triumph. Working through both ups and downs, they overcome the challenges they face so they can fly with their friends high above the clouds.
