History of the Spirit Lake Massacre

Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. IT was with a great degree of embarrassment that I as sented to the various invitations extended to me, to place upon record the recollections of my youth, and group the incidents for a history of that tragic event, generally known as the Spirit Lake Massacre, which so far had gone unwritten, and, no progress made in that direction.
