History of Middle-earth

This edition contains the first five volumes of "The History of Middle-Earth", by J.R.R. Tolkien's son and literary heir. These volumes give an account of the writing of "The Lord of the Rings", and provide the reader with numerous additional scenes, and rare illustrations.
