His Familiar Voice

The idea that a flesh and blood person can have a conversation with God who is Spirit can present a variety of misconceptions as well as a whole lot of doubt. While believers are taught to communicate with God through prayer, the fact is that some folks can go a lifetime thinking of prayer as a one-sided conversation. His Familiar Voice provides testimony of God's ongoing conversation with us as we become more and more aware of who He is and how He works in our lives. The realization that God communicates with us in all situations using all our senses can open up avenues to a deeper relationship with the Lord and an enhanced awareness of who we are as children of God. By developing a pattern of ongoing conversation with the Lord, we learn to recognize His voice and find it ready comfort and trusted guidance in every situation.
