Higher and university education in D. R. Congo

Education as a factor of development must attract the attention of all partners so that it becomes a living reality. Higher and university education is one of the aspects of this education, which must provide students with quality knowledge in order to undertake fundamental and applied research for the benefit of the community. This educational sector is of paramount importance for the effective development of society. We need well-trained, competitive, creative and inventive thinkers who can transform society. To leave this sector in the hands of everyone, without planning its development, would be to kill the teaching and research that are the pillars of integral change. Certainly, our educational system at its higher and university level is seriously ill and needs appropriate care to leave the state of third degree coma towards a full recovery. This book solicits the political will and participation of each of the partners involved for a real therapy.
