Hendrik Dinkelman and Jacoba Wachter, Our Story

This book is a transcript of the personal histories written by Hendrik Dinkelman and Jacoba Wachter, as well as the daily journal that was kept by Hendrik while on his mission to Holland.

As per Hendrik's instruction, "I have directed those who have typed my history to make very few changes or corrections as I felt the objective of my history was that the reader may know me as I am", very few corrections have been made to his original writings.

An index has been added to highlight the interesting stories, events, and thoughts that Hendrik and Jacoba experienced at various times in their lives.

On the last page of his journal, Hendrik expressed a wish to pass the following messages to his posterity:

"I hope this story may be of benefit to my posterity on the journey through life."

"May the Lord bless you and that you may benefit by the lessons that I have learned."
