Heels on Steel: a play

HEELS ON STEEL is the story of one woman's search for identity in a modern African society. Her feminist ideals put her in conflict with traditions and customs, leaving her torn between living as an independent and free 'woman of the times' and finding fulfillment in marriage, while in a constant power struggle with her husband, and the society. Would her search make her the powerful woman she seeks to be - a woman with heels on steel?
