Heaven in the Haven of Peace

An Indian father born in shoemaker caste went to school only for one day in 1917, sold his books and never went to school again. Interesting to read that he managed to educate all his all ten children in some career line in Dar es Salaam (in Arabic-haven or house of peace). Though coming from a village, he was modern in thinking and allowed all his seven daughters to go for higher education. Memoirs are presented here by one of the siblings describing life in India and Tanzania of the family members.
