सदाशिवसमारम्भां शङ्कराचार्यमध्यमाम् ।

अस्मद् श्रीगुरुपर्यन्तां वन्दे गुरुपरम्पराम् ॥ १

sadāśivasamārambhāṃ śaṅkarācāryamadhyamām ।

asmad śrīguruparyantāṃ vande guruparamparām ॥ 1

सदा-शिव-सम्-आरम्भाम् f2/1 that tradition which has perfectlyEvolved from the eternalLordShiva शङ्कराचार्य-मध्यमाम् f2/1 the tradition that has Adi Shankaracharya somewhere in between । अस्मत् mfn5/3 from our श्री-गुरु-पर्यन्ताम् m6/3 extending till our current exalted Master वन्दे लट् i/1 I salute गुरु-परम्पराम् m6/3 tradition of sacred Masters ॥
