Guardians of Gayrile

12-year-old Rygal barely remembers his father, and knows even less about how he died. All he knows is that his father was part of an elite group of warriors that protected the tiny island realm of Gayrile - a group of warriors defeated years ago by the sorcerer Safacon. Now, rumors surface that Safacon has returned in power, sending his deputy and a great host of warriors to attack the Mainland kingdoms. It is into this conflict that Rygal and his companions are suddenly thrust into. In the midst of the war, Rygal seeks to unravel the mysteries surrounding the long-forgotten Guardians of Gayrile... and learn if they can be rallied again.
