Greenmantle

Greenmantle'' is John Buchan''s second novel featuring the character of Richard Hannay and was first published in 1916 by Hodder & Stoughton, London. Greenmantle is one of two Hannay novels set during the First World War, ''Mr Standfast'' (1919) being the other. Hannay''s most famous adventure, ''The Thirty-Nine Steps'' (1915), is set just after the war.
