Third grader Jolene Greenfield--better known as Green Jolene always has a big idea. This summer, she's determined to help her beekeeping neighbor's struggling bees by creating the ultimate pollinator garden.

Armed with a shovel and her Webster, Jolene digs into a summer packed with compost piles, buzzing bees, runaway worms, and more than a few surprises. When hungry deer, complaining neighbors and day-old cold spaghetti make her plans go sideways, will Jolene's big green dreams fall apart . . . or grow into something even more amazing?
