Back around 1983, two years after I had accepted Jesus as my Lord, I was sitting in an office trailer at a construction site. I was a security guard and the only person there at night. That night we had a tropical storm and the trailer began to shake; so I stood up and said out loud, “God, I’m ready.” What I didn’t understand was that I wasn’t ready, I needed to grow. In this book I explain why I needed to grow and share some things that I learned along the way.
